LEARN HOW TO MAKE A CUSTOM KRUNKER UI WITH PHILZGOOD UI Most of these methods below didn’t for me at first, and then I realized something is slightly wrong, and I try again. ![]() So don’t get frustrated, just read the guide again, and try different methods. The fact that Krunker even supports this functionality is pretty amazing. I think it’s more efficient to learn a bit of CSS and HTML so you can adapt to the constantly-changing game of Krunker. It’s not feasible for me to provide tech support here because there’s too many variables. But don’t worry, there’s not too much risk aside from spending hours just messing around. I’ve made some recent updates, mainly for performance. ![]() UPDATE : You can get my latest CSS UI (main game only, no market CSS) if you scroll to the bottom of this page. It supports the use of both resource swapper AND Chrome Overrides. Also, the Krunker client I am using is called the “IDKR Client” by Mixaz (same maker as the custom krunker client). But the Chrome Overrides continues to remain the best way to make a customUI and make tweaks to it. Q: Why isn’t the resource swapper working for me?Ī: With the IDKR client, you get to specify the location of where your resource swapper folder is! Make sure to point to the folder of your preference (for example, you might use the same folder as the swapper of the Official Client).UPDATE 7.15.20: Note that I am using the Resource Swapper as my main method of installing the CSS. Since IDKR is a very stable client, you should just stick with using pre-built releases unless you have an interest in coding. The reasons to do this are 1) you are helping to collaborate on a github project or 2) You want the latest “commits” (updates) to the project without waiting for the developer to release a new “pre-built” release. You pull the repository from github onto your local PC, and then compile it on your PC to create an actual. The other way to install IDKR is for advanced users only. Then, you simply install the exe as you would a normal program. Most people (assuming you’re on Windows) should download the file ending in: “-setup-win.exe”. Q: How do you download and install the IDKR Krunker Client?Ī: The easy way (which is what 99% of users should do) is head over to this page. It also helps with software versioning (for example, pushing out updates). For those not familiar with github, it’s basically a site that lets you organize and share your code projects. If you’re editing CSS, the best workflow would be to open up dev tools while in IDKR, make changes, and then right click on the file you were editing in dev tools and save it over the original file.Ī: IDKR is made by Mixaz017, a Japanese developer who also created the now deprecated “Custom Krunker Client.”Ī: The official website is. Note: you can’t set up permanent CSS-overrides this way, but you can make changes and see the results in real-time. You can also use Chrome Dev Tools in IDKR (Cntrl+Shift+I) to debug CSS! I’m no expert on the security aspect, but that is a feature touted by IDKR as well. It tends to work very well with the NVIDIA Control Panel, delivers consistent performance across updates, and more. Yes, it may be lacking some features versus other clients such as a login manager, but sometimes simple is best. It has good performance, and doesn’t try to do anything too fancy. ![]() I also like how it doesn’t change the game’s original style too much.Ī: Again, there is going to be a lot of shared features among the different clients but I like the fact that it’s very lightweight, launches/runs nearly instantly. I’m not claiming that IDKR is the best client, but I use it as my main client since it has given me the least amount of issues compared to others. There are a ton of Krunker clients out there, and they are all quite similar - allowing you to play Krunker with improved performance by storing game assets locally, plus allowing you to take fuller advantage of the CPU and GPU. FAQ on the IDKR Client for Krunker: A Stable, Secure, and Open Source Client with Advanced Customization Q: What is the IDKR Client?Ī: It’s a Krunker client, just like MTZ or CClient, or the Official Krunker Client.
